This Nokia N800 Internet Tablet is perfect as a for a gift for yourself or someone else. The Nokia N800 is an amazing little hand-held computer. You can easily browse the internet via its built-in WiFi. You can also make telephone calls over WiFi by installing the free Skype software. Of course you can listen to music, including Internet radio stations.
This Nokia N800 Internet Tablet package is barely used and is in excellent condition, with no discernable marks, scratches or blemishes, and comes with the original packaging. It works great and I am selling it simply because I just don't have time to use this excellent device. It is freshly loaded with the latest version of OS2008 to out of the box software state, except that I loaded the Mameo Mapper program to demonstrate the bluetooth GPS accessory.
This N800 Internet Tablet comes with (1) the original box, packaging and booklets; (2) an extra stylus; (3) never used, still in-the-package ear bud headphones; (4) wall charger; (5) battery (shipped installed in the N800); (6) original 128MB mini-SD memory card in adapter (shipped installed in the N800); (7) protective carrying pouch; (8) USB cable.
In addition, this auction includes two peripherals for the N800 to add even more functionality to the N800 Internet Tablet – a wireless keyboard and GPS receiver.
The iGO Stoaway bluetooth keyboard (barely used) includes its protective carrying case, CD and pamplet. Of course it is also compatible with a host of other devices. I found some videos of its operation here and here. While the N800’s on-screen pop-up keyboard is fine for casual text entry, if you intend to do any word processing you may want to use this keyboard.
The GlobalTop G33 Bluetooth GPS Receiver has a 20-hour life on its rechargeable battery, providing a fast sync to the satellites. I loaded the Mameo Mapper application to demonstrate the G33 Bluetooth GPS Receiver – see the photos. This G33 Bluetooth GPS Receiver is also in barely used condition except that the sliding back battery cover doesn’t clasp securely and can sometimes slip open a little bit. This doesn’t impact normal use but in the interest of full disclosure I want to mention it. The unit is in its original packaging and includes the G33 GPS receiver, CD-manual, battery and car charger cord.
